The Next Big Thing
Not too long ago in human history, humankind was convinced that the earth was the center of the universe. Galileo got himself into some hot water on that one, but eventually his theory of the earth rotating around the sun was confirmed.
Not too long ago, humankind was convinced that the earth was flat. However, we now have confirmed that it actually is not.
Not too long ago, my great grandmother was convinced that if people were to hurtle down the highway at 70 miles per hour, the forces must surely kill them.
Not too long ago, people were convinced that mankind would never be able to fly.
Not too long ago, people were convinced that mankind would never leave this planet.
Not too long ago, people were convinced that physical matter could be broken down to elementary particles, tiny bits of solid matter that represent the most minute constituents of matter. Now we realize that the neutrons and protons within an atom are actually little vibrating bits of energy.
Not too long ago, people were convinced that consciousness was limited to the unseen realm of brain waves and/or spiritual realities. Now science is proving that the very existence of matter depends upon consciousness for its existence.
My questions are:
What are the next cherished beliefs that we will be forced to relinquish? What is the next paradigm-shifting reality we will discover?
We know it’s coming. Millennia of human history confirm that change is inevitable, and in God’s infinite reality there exists an infinity of discovery. I’m looking forward to studying and reporting on such stuff right here in the future.
Stay tuned.
