How much is $20 Trillion?

I don’t mean to trash our government here, but I simply wanted to do a quick post about the out of control spending in our capitol. This is just some simple math.

Next year, our national debt is expected to exceed $20 Trillion.
Our national budget was approximately $3.8 Trillion in 2015.

SO, HOW MUCH IS $3.8 TRILLION?
___

If you bought yourself a $5 Million mansion in Beverly Hills every day, 365 days per year,
AND
a $400,000 Rolls Royce every day, 365 days per year,
AND
a $1,000,000 vacation condo anywhere in the world every day, 365 days per year,
it would take you 1,626 years to spend $3.8 Trillion.

___

If you invested $1 Million each in 100 startup businesses, every single day, 365 days per year:
It would take you 548 years to spend $3.8 Trillion.

___

NOW, HOW MUCH IS $20 TRILLION?

For the amount of our national debt, $20 Trillion, you could buy and give away 100 million custom built homes worth $200,000 each. If each home held four people, that would provide a brand new custom home for the entire population of the U.S.
___

For the amount of our national debt, $20 Trillion, you could buy and give away 800 million manufactured homes worth $25,000 each. If each home held four people, that would provide a brand new manufactured home for half the population of the entire world.
___

For $20 Trillion, you could buy and give away 3.6 billion prefabbed 200 Sq. Ft. Cabins, complete with bathroom and kitchen and sleeping space. If each cabin held two people, that’s a brand new dwelling space for every individual human being on the planet.
___

For $20 Trillion, you could buy two $4 meals for every person on the planet every day for a year.
___

For $20 Trillion, you could provide every human being on the planet $55 per week grocery money for a year.
___

For $20 Trillion, you could provide every human being on the planet 4 pints of clean bottled water every single day, 365, for 13 years.
___

The entire world’s income is close to $70 trillion, which means the debt alone of the U.S. is equal to a quarter of the entire world’s income.
___

Wow.
